Pozzi Ginori has always been considered a point of reference in the world of bathroom furnishings and sanitary ceramics. A company that has traversed the entire history of the bathroom and marked stylistic trends and various time periods with its historic series. There are many ceramic series that have become iconic. We have already seen some of these sanitary ware models in previous articles: ITALICA : “Wc (toilet) seats for large sanitary ware” MONTEBIANCO : “Montebianco. Classic/antique sanitary ware and their toilet seats” STILE, T-UNO, ALFEO: “Sanitary ware old mofels. Where can i found the toilet seat?” PIEMONTE: “COLOURED toilet seats – how NOT to choose wrong!”
We can say that all the decades of the 1900s (the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s) were marked by at least one Pozzi Ginori series. At the turn of the new millennium, after a century of success, one might think that the company was dragging its feet and would find it difficult to renew itself and still be able to make an impact in terms of style and numbers. Instead, right at the beginning of the 2000s, the company’s designers launched: POZZI-GINORI Collection. A catalogue that included 4 new series of sanitaryware: Q3, JOIN, EASY.02 and 500, all of which were destined for incredible success and are still being produced today! Let’s see them…
Series Q3 Pozzi Ginori (rectangular sanitaryware and WC seats)
It is definitely a rectangular sanitary ware. Together with the other series presented, it traces the route of the style that was to take hold in the bathroom furnishing world. Sanitary ware with sides (flush with the wall), clean and soft shapes, smooth surfaces without fissures. A revolution also for Pozzi Ginori. The original Q3 toilet seat is still available in the store at the following link [ open LINK ]
JOIN Pozzi Ginori series (sanitary ware and large size toilet seats)
Vases and bidets with large shapes (exceeding 60 cm) and therefore a toilet seat measuring 49/50 cm. Presented in both floor-standing flush-to-wall and wall-hung versions, Join was considered the most luxurious line in the catalogue.
In spite of its large size, its slender line made it light in space. Definitely suitable for spacious bathrooms. After the first edition, in the following years, a variant was presented, which while maintaining the Join style was reduced in size. That’s why in the toilet seats you can find the old type (longer) version at the following link [ open LINK ] and the T.N. new type at the following link [ open LINK ]
Series 500 Cinquecento Pozzi Ginori (sanitary ware and small toilet seats)
Five hundred (500) millimetres are the length of these fantastic sanitaryware. We consider it the perfect shape, both we and the market, which rewarded it with extraordinary sales. It was presented in both wall-hung and floor-standing versions and combined with a very wide range of washbasins. It is still very popular today with designers who use it all the time in small bathrooms where they want to give a refined impression. An iconic series! You can find its toilet seats in the store at the following link [ open LINK ]
Series EASY.02 Pozzi Ginori
A form of sanitary ware (WCs and bidets) from which in the following years all ceramic companies competing with Pozzi-Ginori were inspired. The Easy.02 series (we could say, for a change, about the Pozzi Ginori company) was the zero year of flush-to-wall sanitary ware with soft oval shapes. It was a project so precise and studied in the smallest details that a rounded toilet seat was designed in such a way as to seem a continuation of the ceramic element. All WC seats for this series are available in the store at the following link [ open LINK ]
