WEG series Disegno Ceramica
This ceramic series follows the formal style of Ovo, but if there the characteristic that outlines the shape is the softness of the curves, in this series called Weg, the direction taken is that of the rectangle. Certainly not sharp 90° angles as in the TOUCH 2 series that we will soon discover, but nevertheless a physiognomy that recalls that geometric shape. It is a modern shape in line with the various proposals of other competing ceramic manufacturers. If we would like to point out a few: MY by Hidra Ceramiche, X2 Gsi Ceramica and TEN Art Ceram. PAOLINA series Disegno Ceramica
With this ceramic series (Paolina) we discover the classic side of the ceramic series of Disegno. We have seen in the post: “And then comes Montebianco! Classic/antique sanitary ware and their toilet seats” as starting more than a century ago with Pozzi Ginori’s ceramic series (precisely Montebianco) all ceramic manufacturers have been committed to creating and producing sanitary ware in the classic antique style. A distinguishing feature of this type of sanitary ware is the workmanship in the foot and upper part of the body. In Paolina the shape in the floor is rectangular and in the upper body oval. TOUCH 2 series Disegno Ceramica
The company’s flagship rectangular series is called TOUCH 2. It is a restyling of the first series, which had a completely different, oval shape. HERE you can see its toilet seat cover. Its shape is very unusual, the change of depth in the body lightens its volume and slims it upwards. Its formal competitors we discovered in the post: “The winner is… our special ranking of rectangular sanitary ware and toilet seats” where among the various series we have selected sanitary ware with 90° angles just like Touch 2: FROZEN, VERSO, PLUS.
