CATINO series Disegno Ceramica
Perhaps the most iconic series in our opinion is Catino. They succeeded in moulding ceramic elements into the shape of the object we all know. Long, perfect straight tops that start at the bottom and narrow into a cone shape. We believe there is no other ceramic series in the bathroom furniture market that anticipated or recalls its shape. Perhaps it is the formal forerunner of a new type of WC and bidet for other ceramic companies that will be able to repeat certain craftsmanship. NEO series Disegno Ceramica
At last, a novelty in rectangular sanitary ware shapes. Not that the modern proposals made by the other ceramic manufacturers are not special and beautiful, but they were all focused on modern style and the search for the latest design (HERE an in-depth look at rectangular sanitary wares and their WC covers). With Neò Disegno Ceramica starts from the rectangular element with sharp 90° angles at the top but designs a body with a classic, antiqued style. Perhaps somewhat reminiscent of Pozzi Ginori’s 900 series (designed by Antonio Citterio) but the play of steps that widen from the bottom upwards and the large relief on the upper back characterise its uniqueness and make it very recognisable. OVO series Disegno Ceramica
We are used to the more current ceramic series with rather small dimensions, especially if we compare them with sanitary ware from the 70s and 80s (to understand what we are talking about we suggest this LINK), the ceramic company also goes against the trend with this series and offers sanitary ware with very soft curves, hence perhaps the name Ovo, and a very long, almost triangular shape at the top.
