Signed by Enzo Mari, Fiorile is a ceramic series with a distinct personality, expressed through clean lines inspired by pure design, far removed from ephemeral and transient fashions. With Fiorile Ideal Standard has returned to the successes of its historic series from the 80s and 90s. The sanitary wares in the Fiorile series are suitable for both classically and modern/contemporary furnished bathrooms. The soft, rounded shapes are characterised by a protruding upper profile to which they owe their originality and recognisability.
Be careful when choosing toilet seat covers for toilets Fiorile Ideal Standard! At first Ideal Standard produced a version “classic/traditional” of the floor-standing vase. Subsequently, the collection was enriched with wall-hung and floor-standing versions flush with the wall. Accordingly, when purchasing a replacement seat for the flush-to-wall WC, it is necessary to look at different versions. A few words on the version “Fiorile lux/suspended”. In the early 2000s and the ceramic house Ideal Standard presents an updated edition of the Fiorile WC that will be called Lusso. We are in the period when all ceramic manufacturers are successfully proposing flush-to-wall WCs and bidets (called carenati). For these WCs, toilet seats with fixing from above are needed (expa). Ideal Standard while maintaining the frontal shape of the “classic/traditional” Fiorile toilet unchanged, it extends it to the rear, bringing it flush with the wall. Essentially taking over the shape and dimensions of the wall-hung version that had been introduced some time before.
As is evident from the pictures, an unmistakable datum so as not to make a mistake when purchasing a replacement toilet seat, the ‘classic/traditional’ version of Fiorile is rounded front/back while the suspended/luxury versions are rounded front but cut back. The technical measurements are as follows, the fixing centre distance for all versions is 15.5 cm, the same for the width of 36 cm, the depth instead – from the beginning of the toilet bowl to the centre distance of the fixing holes – is 45 cm for the ‘classic/traditional’ version and 44 for the wall-hung and flush versions. The other difference of a technical nature consists, as already mentioned, in the type of fixing of the hinges to the toilet, fixing from above for the luxury/suspended versions, fixing from below for the “classic/traditional” floor-standing version.

“Classic/Traditional” version
Polyester resin-coated wood solutions are available, HERE the STANDARD WHITE and HERE the WHITE, both labelled “Like the Original”, are exactly the same as the original product but may not bear the factory mark and are offered at a lower price than the original.
Wall and suspended versions
