We have seen that since 2000, under the artistic direction of Giulio Cappellini, this ceramic company has given rise to a series of projects that have led it to be recognised as one of the leading design testimonials in the sector. As we have seen in the post: “All Ceramica Flaminia sanitary wares in the new millennium and their toilet seats (part 1)” the first three winning projects were: LINK, SPIN and TERRA. They were so successful and popular that it was even thought that such a success could not be replicated. Wrong! As we begin to see in this post, Flaminia continued to churn out successful ceramic series.
NILE series Ceramica Flaminia
(Year 2014) Designed by designer Patrick Norguet his name is: Nile.
Rectangular sanitary ware with significant dimensions that are sure to be placed in spacious, high-quality bathrooms.
A rectangular body with precise proportions softened in the corners by wide-radius curves. In order to best appreciate its shape, it has only been presented in the suspended version.

MONO’ series Ceramica Flaminia
Also for this series called Monò, Ceramica Flaminia gave the project to the designer: Patrick Norguet
How can we consider this ceramic series from a formal point of view? Certainly revolutionary! We include it in the rectangular shapes but add a few descriptive details. The starting shape in the upper plane is definitely a rectangle, but the rounded corners lighten it structurally. The body of the sanitary ware as it descends towards the floor changes inclination by a few degrees, causing the end to narrow. The overall view is an upward development that streamlines the shape.

VOID series Ceramica Flaminia
(Year 2008) Unique? Provocation? Here the designer’s hand Fabio Novembre leaves its mark on these sanitary wares called: Void.
From an old catalogue of theirs we take this description by Fabio Novembre: “Water draws matter with a harmony to which any designer aspires. Called into question on the typology that most of all has to do with the flow of water, I tried to take a step back, letting the objects draw themselves. Like pebbles in a river polished by time, allowing themselves to be crossed by the internal and external flows that flow through our life”. Words that echo in the poetic forms of these incredible sanitary wares.
We also applaud Flaminia for having the courage to take formal challenges so far and for the industrial capacity to succeed in producing them.
