Today we discover Ceramica CIELO. Born and bred in the wonderland of Civita Castellana that we have well described in many previous posts: ”The companies in the Civita Castellana district and their sanitary ware. Looking for toilet seats? The Sintesibagno catalogue helps you (part 1)” we have already met the following ceramic companies and their sanitary ware: Ceramica Althea Civica Castellana – Outline Series, Ceramica Kerasan Civita Castellana – Retrò Series, Ceramica Globo Civita Castellana – the OPEN SPACE project, Ceramica Azzurra Civita Castellana – Series FULL 48 54 56. In the post: “The ceramic manufacturers in the ceramic district of Civita Castellana. Sintesibagno helps you find toilet seats for this WC (part 2)” instead we got to know the following ceramic companies and their sanitary ware: Ceramica Flaminia Civita Castellana – The WORK IN PROGRESS project (Link – Spin – Terra), Ceramica Simas Civita Castellana – Frozen Series, Ceramica Catalano Civita Castellana – The Zero System.
From their site we discover that: ‘Ceramica Cielo was born from the tradition and experience of master ceramists, with the intention of enhancing this noble raw material, and to realise through it innovative and original, but at the same time timeless, contemporary bathroom furniture collections linked to our tradition. Ceramica Cielo is 100% controlled by IBD – Italian Bathroom Design, leader in the design and production of high-quality Made in Italy ceramics, the majority of which is owned by the Mittel Group. The Cielo collections have a recognisable, innovative, elegant and functional design..”
Today we will discover some of its ceramic series and their WC covers that have enabled it to become a leading company in the sector and a style icon that brings Made in Italy to international markets.
SHUI series Ceramica Cielo

We consider it the company’s most representative series. With this unique series it has managed to stand out in an incredibly competitive and complicated bathroom furniture market. Its name is: SHUI.
A sanitary ware with a shape that can be considered rectangular, some slight curves placed in the corners lighten its style. The rise in relation to the top located at the rear, which will be in line with the toilet seat (when closed), makes it an avant-garde shape.
A thermoset WC cover with a wrap-around lid must be fitted to this sanitary ware to complete the style line. In the Sintesibagno store you will find a perfect product, virtually identical to the original. clik here
OPERA Tondo series Ceramica Cielo

For some time we have been trying to find a way to modernise classic shapes that have marked the history of bathroom design. Many of these ceramic series we have discovered in previous posts: ”Replacement and replacement of CLASSIC/RETRO style toilet seats’”. Here we have seen the shapes of toilet seats at 8 of ANTALIA Dolomite, the shape of the violin toilet seats of RETRO’ by Kerasan, the toilet seats with the double curve of ELLADE by Hidra. Or a rounded shape like the Pozzi Ginori series MONTEBIANCO: ”And then comes ‘Montebianco’ Classic/antique sanitary ware and their toilet seats (part 2)” and the series inspired by her: ALBANO Vitruvit, LUTEZIA Senesi, PALLADIO Sbordoni and LONDRA Simas.
With OPERA ceramics Cielo takes an incredible formal step, charting a new classic style. Using the geomteric play, already used in SHUI, of the back step, it makes its clean lines with closed toilet seat.
As with SHUI, a thermoset WC cover with wrap-around lid must be fitted to this sanitary ware to complete the style line. In the Sintesibagno store you will find a perfect product, virtually identical to the original. clik here.
POP series Ceramica CIELO
With the POP ceramic series, Cielo enters the large shipbuilding sector, where value for money is paramount. An economical series, but one with great aesthetic and modern character. A very interesting detail of this ceramic series and its toilet seat cover is the width: 34 cm.
We always have the POP ceramic toilet seat cover by Cielo available in the store at the following LINK (clik here)
